At Daddy Cool Company we always link quality and taste to convenience. Although we talk about broad know-how and the most modern means of production, we are still in our hearts a family business. We still show just as much dedication and ambition as we did so many years ago.

1985

Bruno and Jessie Meyer started to produce ready-to-(h)eat pita meat for the hospitality industry and industrial sector under the name Pittaman. Previously, Bruno and his brothers had successfully run the first two pita restaurant chains in Belgium: Bros and La Dolce Pitta.

1990

The company expanded its unique knowledge of pre-cooked meat and individually quick frozen products (IQF).

2000

Pittaman continued its professional approach at its new premises in Schoten and launched a new brand name: Daddy Cool – Easy & Delicious.

2010

Bram was the first of the Meyer second generation to join the business. The expansion of the company building was completed this year in order to obtain higher level International Food Standard (IFS) quality certification.

2016

Launch of the Authentic Kebab. This range became a huge success thanks to its unique marinating and grilling process. HALAL certification was also obtained.

2020

Even more innovations: Phil’s premium filled bar bites were launched. An original layered snack in different world flavours inspired by the typical Sicilian snack Arancini.

2021

Our ambition keeps reaching further and further. Pittaman BV became Daddy Cool Company BV. The new baseline ‘Your shortcut to great taste’ conveys exactly what our products stand for. We also launched a fourth product group: ‘World Tastes’ is a new range of strips and cubes in various world flavours. This way we fulfill other eating moments and attract even more chefs with our convenience meal components
